Welp, we’re entering mid-June, and, shocker, generative AI is moving faster than it did last month.

The point is, it generates a website in seconds, with 1 prompt from the user.

Let’s see this bad boy in action.

I went in and prompted that I would like a home rental website, where I can rent out other people’s places for a fee.

And..it generated this:

Even as an ML/AI developer, this is f**cking mind-boggling. What we have hear is the future, ladies and gentleman. What use to take hours of meticulous code, can now be generated in sheer seconds.

But…what does this mean for a new startup? Where are a new business’s inherent advantages?

It can’t be all sunshine and rainbows for AI, right? Too good to be true? Maybe….or, maybe not.

Let’s look at this:

4 weeks old. 100 mill investment. We’re talking big bucks, ladies and gentlemen. And this is only getting started.

And to tie it back into my earlier point, where is the defensibility? Well, other than brand (read fully before you rush to post TikTok thirst traps), it would be in the data and analytics from your model.

How much proprietary data, and how specifically can you train your model? Obviously, the investors in Mistral AI believe that these 3 guys can make a push in Europe with their training data. And $100 million, a lot of which will go to compute resources and GPUs, doesn’t seem too far off the money.

Especially if they plan on taking on OpenAI. It’s like taking on Google in 2003. About that…

Anyway…

What’s my point in all this? Design’s about to be 1000x as fast, yet crazy, as it was before. And it’s just beginning.

Currently, I’m working with the guys who made AgentGPT, and let me tell you, this technology is way more powerful than what is being shown to the world. Meaning, 12 months from now, we’ll be living completely different lives.

Literally- 4 of the top 10 songs on Spotify will be partially- or totally AI generated….
