So much that Tyler Perry put his $800 Million Studio Expansion on hold, citing Sora as the reason.

We also saw last week that Sam Altman is aiming to raise $7 Trillion for a new AI chip initiative, but he seems to have upped the stakes:

Anyways, Masayoshi Son, the founder of SoftBank, seems to want to jump into the AI Chip ring.

He is looking to raise $100 Billion for a new AI chip initiative called ‘Izanagi’.

100 billion- not quite on the $8 Trillion level, but it's up there nonetheless!

We’re getting there with video, sound, audio, editing, VFX, etc…

Mistral, an AI startup in France, has released a new model called “next”.

The interesting part? Early users are reporting that the capabilities are meeting or surpassing GPT-4 evaluations…how true this is in practice is yet to be seen.

AI and Beauty? A company called Luumlash is now using AI-powered robots to do eyelashes. It’s quite an interesting application of computer vision technology.

Google’s AI seem’s to have gone woke with it’s Gemini outputs. ..

Tinder + OpenAI?

Anyways….in other news, Match group (Behind Tinder, Match, Plenty of Fish etc) partners with OpenAI- more AI partner models on the horizon?
