AI Fraud, Guides, & History

The Scroll

The most important things in life often take time- and technology is no different.

When one looks at the evolution of various form factors for technology- spatial computing, especially when you throw generative AI into the mix, seems to be a quantum leap.

Now, we’ve got people wearing the Vision Pro in their cars…

Stay safe out there!

Anyways…on the theme of transportation, we’ve got Google Map bringing generative AI to the road.

Specifically…

1/ A local AI guide- so you travel to a new country and are driving around- the AI tour guide in Googe Maps will generate suggestions for places to visit based on vibe.

Or you could get more adventurous on your next trip to Chick-fil-A- that works too.

2/ AI helps uncover history- AI researchers have used the technology to read the letters on the papyrus scroll, which was damaged during the blast of Pompeii…

Now that is a wild use case. The scroll had been thought to be owned by Julius Ceasar’s father in law..

You see, this tech will help uncover both the past and the future..and the now

3/AI neural networks and generators have passed the KYC standards on multiple crypto exchanges

Using generative AI on a site like OnlyFake, passports, and licenses seem to have passed the KYC check.

This powerful technology can be used positively- but also maliciously.

Overall, this should be an incentive for further technological development- AI technology can be used to detect fraud in such cases.

AI can be used to fight AI!

4/ Bumble has launched a deception detector- overdue for many, as there are many profiles on the platform that are Catfishing.

5/ A new transistor?

Researchers are calling it the moire synaptic transistor- which integrates memory with processing. Essentially these circuits are brainlike in how they make decisions.

At room temperature, the transistor performed energy efficient associative learning- epic progress being made with hardware, circuits, and AI.

Anyways, peace out for now.
