AI Cars & Food

Less than 2 ,weeks in, Q1 2024 is ramping up…

1/ The Cali express is an interesting new phenomenon in the world of AI.

What is the Cali Express exactly? Well, it’s a restaurant that utilizes robots in the production of the food in real time- the grill robot grinds quality meat after the order is placed.

Basically….come for the robots, stay for the food, and…come back for the training data.

2/ AI Doctor Copilots:

Nabla, an AI clinical notes copilot, has just raised $24 million in funding. This comes at an interesting time and use case- expect far more verticalized AI solutions to come in the future, instead of the horizontal ‘one-for-all’ AI solutions like Jasper.

Basically, Nabla is an AI powered assistant doctor, carefully crafting notes and medical reports.

Interesting use case for sure…

3/ AI Drug Discovery:

Isomorphic labs teams up with Eli Lilly and Novartis on drug-discovery and will receive a combined $82.5 million in funding to carry out this work. This is definitely a positive on the path to personalized medicine and a cancer-free society.

4/ Volkswagen is incorporating ChatGPT into its cars

More specifically, it is incorporating ChatGPT voices into the car models. This will get interesting- it will basically be an IDA assistant activated by voice or the steering wheel button.

The logical next step is…will Elon incorporate Grok AI in Tesla?

Now we’re talking.

5/ Figure Humanoid Robot Can Make a Cup of Coffee… you heard it here folks, looks like trips to the cafe are about to get a lot more interesting.

And the crazy part is- the Figure robot learned to make the cup of coffee after just 10 hours of training. That is quite a fast learning loop, even for robotics/AI standards.

The future is just beginning, and its happening right before our eyes. A marvel to witness.
