AI Companions & IKEA

what do they have in common?

AI. Apple Vision Pro.

It seems like new tech is coming out every week. Like a supernova.

We got an interesting observation. Seems like the web3 experts who became AI guys…will now

…switch to AR/VR. :)

Anyway, where were we?

Oh right, I was saying, no matter how many new advancements are made in tech- be it AGI, or the Metaverse…

Human nature will always be the same.

Don’t believe me?

We all exist because of it. See, someone had to create us, and the generation before. And the generation before. And the generation before. Did I mention the generation before that?

Anyways, you can probably guess where this is going. Or not!

See, there’s this AI company called Replika…

And its aim is to give you…

Sounds interesting doesn’t it? Now before everyone gets riled up on the dystopian nature of this…

Hear me out.

We’ve got a loneliness crisis- 60% of people in the US feel pretty lonely on a regular basis. And this is increasing. Now, obviously, some solitude can help people figure out their life purpose, gain momentum, etc. But excessive loneliness on such a massive scale? This can be a problem.

I swear, I have not been paid by Replika- when applied on a wide enough scale, and with enough ease of use, many will like the idea!

Ok, here’s a prompting tip for today: Whenever you ask Bard or ChatGPT for something, you need to give it boundary conditions.

What do I mean by this? See, after inputting a prompt such as “Do a SWOT analysis on [xyz] business idea”, you want to add something such as “Follow my instructions precisely. No inaccuracies”

This reduces the possible hallucinations by the AI. And that’s always dope.

By the way, ChatGPT just released updates to their GPTT 3.5 and GPT-4 models

Devs….go wild.

Now, more dev stuff. Open Source might eat the enterprise…

See, with a lot of software right now- take Gong.io, companies are paying banks for the recording, transcription, and analysis of sales calls.

But now…

There’s an open-source alternative. Meet….SalesCopilot

By the way, what do furniture and AI have in common? Other than AI related designing, not much!

But obviously, IKEA knows more than me, and they’re going deep into AI with their interior design team. Wild stuff.

And it’s just beginning…join the game.

Catch y’all soon.
