1/ Eric Schmidt gets booed while talking about AI to U of A grads

The way he framed it was definitely off.

He spoke as if AI is the main character and students just have to join the tsunami or get left behind.

That is the wrong message for graduates.

The better framing is that AI should expand human potential, not make people feel like they are side characters in their own future.

Students do not want to hear that the future is just machines, disruption, and inevitability.

They want to hear how they can build, lead, create, and use these tools to do meaningful work.

AI is massive, but people still want agency.

That is the whole point.

2/ KPMG is adding Claude

This is a very real enterprise AI signal.

KPMG adding Claude shows that major consulting and professional services firms are moving past the “AI experiment” phase and into actual workflow adoption.

The next phase is not employees casually using ChatGPT on the side.

It is AI embedded into tax, audit, advisory, finance, compliance, research, and internal operations.

This is where AI starts becoming infrastructure inside white collar work.

The firms that figure out how to combine human expertise with AI leverage are going to move dramatically faster than the ones that treat AI like a productivity toy.

3/ Google to prioritize AI results over human-written articles

This is a huge shift in how the internet works.

For years, the internet was built around humans creating content so Google could rank it, monetize it, and send traffic back.

Now Google is increasingly turning the search page into the answer itself.

That changes the entire incentive structure of the web.

Publishers, bloggers, creators, media companies, and independent writers are all going to have to rethink distribution.

If AI gives the answer before anyone clicks, the old SEO playbook gets much weaker.

The internet is moving from “search and click” to “ask and receive.”

That is a massive platform shift.

4/ xAI to release Coding CLI

This is where the Cursor acquisition starts to make a lot of sense.

A coding CLI is not just another developer tool.

It is a way to bring AI directly into the terminal, where real engineering work actually happens.

The big race now is who owns the developer workflow.

Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and now xAI are all fighting to become the default AI layer for software engineering.

The best coding assistant will not just autocomplete code.

It will understand the repo, run commands, debug errors, write tests, and help ship features end to end.

This is AI moving from assistant to engineering teammate.

5/ SpaceX to IPO

They just filed their S-1!

If SpaceX actually goes public, this would be one of the biggest IPO moments in modern tech history.

This would be a monster moment for both space and tech.
