Claude Cooks, Chinese Models, and Space AI
1/ Claude Constitution Reveal
It is incredibly rare for an AI lab, or any company, to publish something that looks like a constitution. Not a blog post. Not a PR statement. A real attempt to formalize values, constraints, and principles in writing. Anthropic is making its governance legible, and that matters more than most people realize.
2/ Anthropic CEO: Engineers won’t code anymore
This sounds provocative, but it lines up with what builders are already experiencing. The job is shifting from writing code line by line to directing systems, reviewing outputs, and shaping behavior. Engineers become system designers and editors, not just authors.
3/ Solar powered AI data centers on the way
Energy is now a first order constraint for AI. Compute scales, power demand explodes, and the bottleneck moves off the model and onto infrastructure. Solar powered data centers hint at where the real innovation battle is headed.
4/ Chegg: cooked by AI?
This is disruption happening in real time. When students can get instant, contextual answers from AI, the traditional homework help model collapses fast. Chegg is not an exception. It is the pattern.
5/ A new Chinese model cooks
An open source Chinese model performing on par with top labs should be a wake up call. The one shot video to code demo is especially telling. Frontier level capability is spreading globally, and the gap is closing faster than most expect.
