AI Doctors & Wearables

Are you not entertained?

Whats good everybody.

So, the AI world is zooming along faster than a squirrel on espresso. Remember last week? Ancient history in AI terms! (totally did not write that opener with ChatGPT…)

It's like everyone's got AI fever – even their pets are getting in on the action. I mean, if your goldfish isn't discussing neural networks yet, you're behind the times.

In fact, Airbnb just acquired an AI startup, Game Planner AI, for 200 million. The official reason given for this acquisition is that they combine AI, design and community in a unique way. Not bad.

Anyways, the GPT store is all the rage- set to be released at the end of this month. Buckle up folks.

The big dawgs are once again sinking their teeth into the wave.

Google, for instance, just released its Mirasol 3B model, which is a model for learning across audio, video, and text modalities. You can find the full paper by them here: https://blog.research.google/2023/11/scaling-multimodal-understanding-to.html?utm_source=bensbites&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=daily-digest-the-wrong-path-ahead

Anyways, with new models, startup acquisitions, and AI’s being released left and right, it only makes sense that the

GPTs and why they’re going to change the game:

We’ve talked about prompt engineering right?

Well, open AI has abstracted that to a higher level, and developers can specify the instructions of the GPT first, before diving in.

AI-Powered Doctors offices:

A company called Forward health is making…get this…a doctor’s office in a box.

Yep- and he’s going to charge $99/mo.

Here’s a quick glimpse of it:

It’s a massive vision, with the end goal of providing health care to everybody that cannot access it. That’s right- obviously expanding things like medicare can help reach people, but the free markets exist for a reason. It’s no wonder that Forward just closed a $100 million buckaroos.

Now, let’s dive into wearable AIs.

Wearable AI- A New Interface

Humane AI Pin:

If you’ve scrolled instagram or twitter (x) in the last few weeks, you’ve probably run into the Humane AI pin.

It’s basically a wearable AI assistant- a wearable ChatGPT of sorts. But there’s a twist.

Basically, you clip this square device to your clothes. Now, it projects a laser to your hand, which works as a touch screen of sorts, and it works through voice.

And- it’s basically an AI assistant powered by GPT-4. Can take calls, messages, browse, answer questions- the list goes on and on. Now, the need for a phone will be lessened. The question is- will it get mass adoption?

Wild times.

Gah-lee, now we’re hitting the acceleration button for real.

We’ve also got Tab, an AI assistant necklace.

Basically, it’s your personal AI assistant on a necklace.

AI powered underwear on the way?

All jokes aside, physical AI wearables are a really cool interface to interact with AI. This is basically a brand new operating system in technology.

And so I expect all the big companies like Apple to follow suit.

Peace out for now.
