1️⃣ Robot AI Startup Figure: A Giant Leap Forward
🤖 The Dawn of the Humanoid Era 🤖
Meet Figure, the trailblazing startup steering us into the future with its humanoid robots. Fresh off the press, Figure has just bagged a whopping $675 million in Series B funding, skyrocketing its valuation to an impressive $2.6 billion. With a backing squad featuring heavyweights like Bezos, OpenAI, and Nvidia, the question arises: Are we witnessing the evolution of FAANG to ON (OpenAI, Nvidia), with a dash of Tesla for good measure? ONT, anyone?
This momentous funding not only marks a pivotal turn in the robotics and AI saga but also heralds the birth of AI models tailor-made for robotics. Are you ready to ride the wave of the humanoid revolution?
Exciting, and we seem to be at the beginning of the humanoid revolution curve.
2️⃣ X + Midjourney: A Fusion on the Horizon?
🎨 Unleashing Creativity with AI 🎨
Now. X and Midjourney are set to form a potential partnership.
Though nothing is fully announced yet, Elon said there were “interesting discussions” between himself and the Midjourney team.
Good news for AI art either way. A whole wave of tools for artists- Midjourney, Stability, Sora, etc. It’s never been more important to enhance skills and become one with the tool, as sensei’s and sword masters would say.
Onward.
3️⃣ Elon Musk vs. OpenAI: A Legal Showdown
⚖️ The Battle of Titans ⚖️
We just Talked about a potential X and midjourney partnership- but there seems to be an AI drama storm brewing,
Elon has officially sued OpenAI for a “contract breach”, and the suit further states that the company has been transformed into a “closed-source de facto subsidiary of the largest technology company in the world: Microsoft”
Whichever way this goes, things are about to get heated…
xAI vs OpenAI.
No shortage of drama in the AI world…
