Now, AI is coming for the jobs

Many predicted the blue collar jobs- even whole presidential campaigns were run on that premise.

However, few predicted that perhaps the white-collar work would be first to be displaced.

And such is the reason why the software firm, SAP, had its shares go to all time highs after it stated that it would restructure its jobs to be more AI-native.

Interesting.

1/ Now, onto more pressing matters- you ever have 50+ tabs open in Chrome? Well, many do.

And so, Google has introduced an AI tool to help solve this problem–

Specifically, an AI tab organizer for Chrome…talk about timely!

A Chrome product manager stated that users “are always asking for better ways to manage their complex workflows”. True- Gemini is still lagging, but we’ve got something here.

2/ Victoria’s Secret makes new AI Shopping partnership- this came slightly as a surprise to many. For some not so much- this could be the natural extension to AI companions in real life…

Anyways, they are doing this via a multi-year partnership with Google Cloud, and the CIO says the use cases will primarily be around “marketing development and supply chain optimization”. And obviously, you’d bet they are experimenting with AI clothing try-ons.

3/ Kanye West’s new song features AI-generated video

This doesn’t come as a huge surprise,  but it does indicate the pace and directional  convergence of art, music and AI

4/ AI & Crypto convergence?

GT protocol is an AI execution protocol, and the use cases are interesting…

• AI Shopping assistance

• AI NFT management

• AI crypto assistance

It was only natural that the worlds of AI and Web3 would collide…

5/ The George Carlin Estate filed a lawsuit against AI-Generated comedy special of Him

I’d expect a lot more of this to occur- IP rights and AI are still in a gray field.

And when it’s gray with regulation- there’s opportunity (Just ask Uber).
