We’re referring to the great swapping of meat and seafood with plant-based alternatives. This already has been a “thing” for a few years, but it’s even more of a thing now.

Let’s dive in. 

First, let's talk about some of the health benefits of swapping meat for plant-based meat substitutes.

But, Chicken Fajitas are too good to resist…..it’s alright, I feel the same way. So hear me out. 

Some Science-backed benefits of switching to plant-based meats

• You will be exposed to less microplastics and heavy metals from seafood

• Less calories on average

• Plant-based food usually has more fiber

• Immune system protection properties
