Spooked by UFOs? This Startup’s got Your Back

And so do you

A few days ago, a few mind-blowing events occurred.

The US Government shot down an unidentified flying object. And another. And then, another.

Obviously, there’s more to the story than meets the eye because the government would not shoot down a flying object unless it was certain of intent.

Or would it?

Well, before diving too deep into government conspiracies (some of which have been proven to be true), let’s dive into a company that’s looking to give you what your own government won’t: accurate information.

Don’t believe me?

Look no further than Enigma Labs, a startup that is crowdsourcing data on UFOs.

Then, they are plugging in the data into machine learning models to spot anomalies with UFOs.

You might be wondering: what data specifically?

See, this is where things get a little fuzzy. The data they gather is fetched from “over 270k citizen and military reports across every country.” This vast swath of data is then modeled using multivariate analysis.

Ok, enough nerding out. Basically, they company gathers an insane amount of data from national reports and sightings from around the world and feeds it into proprietary algorithms.

It’s the alien version of ChatGPT (until Open AI adds this into their system too…)

Anyway, before diving into this company, let’s understand a fact about recent UFO sightings:

There’s been 350 reports of UFOs in Government records…over the last 2 years. Simply wild.

The aliens could not have made this more obvious.

Anyway, what’s crazier is that, after the US shot down a UFO the other day, the US General doesn’t rule out aliens as a possibility, saying “I haven’t ruled out anything.”

Wild.

In fact, the rationale for the government shooting down the aircraft was that “it posed a threat to US aircraft.” Which begs some questions: are we in a full-blown proxy war with China or Russia? And, if not, is the alien invasion in full force?

Anyway, let’s get back to our startup that’s collecting data on UFOs.

If you’ve taken stats classes before, Enigma labs is giving citizens the data and tools to make their own decisions on UFOs. Though most won’t really use them.

How Enigma works:

  1. A citizen, government agency submits a UFO sighting

  2. If approved, it’s entered into their database

  3. ML models analyze and predict future UFO behavior

These models provide predictive insights, data, and analysis on UFOs, so citizens and governments around the world can make more informed decisions.

Meaning the founder, Alex Smith (great name, by the way), is going to be fully secure during the incoming alien invasion.

Cool, we know who to DM when the apocalypse starts.

And so, what business opportunities exist in the space?

You might be thinking, how the hell can I build anything in the space or UFO sector?

Well, my friend, that’s where the ZenPreneur comes in.

Space & UFO-Themed Business Ideas:

  • Crowdsourcing UFO Data- obviously, what Engima labs is doing is fantastic. But there can be multiple players in the space. How about creating a UFO data set for India, China- or even, Kansas? Plug those bad boys into an ML model, and boom. You got yourself a Geo-location based, Alien proof tech startup (if you build this, count me in for investment)

  • Build a short-form video content business around space- The government and news outlets are always looking to reach GenZ. If you’re good with TikTok or Youtube Shorts, this is for you. Simply have the latest breaking news- whether it’s a SpaceX launch, or otherwise- and comment on it.

  • Use Open AI’s DallE API to create the Shutter Stock of space photos. Seems simple. With Stable Diffusion and the Image creation tools out there, there’s never been a better time to start something like this

  • Build a 3D Map startup- Here, you would build a way to turn satellite images into 3d models. You would sell to the US government agencies, who would based on data, pay around $100k per year to get access to those 3D images. Go figure

Some of these are definitely challenging to pull off. But hey, no risk, no reward. Am I right? And knowing how talented you readers are, some of these will definitely get built.

Anyways, lads, that was your Monday edition of The ZenPreneur.

Peace.
