Spooky Season AI

Spooky season is here.

The question is….how is AI going to play a role?

Well, don’t fear, we got you here! (GPT 4’s still gotta work on the jokes…)

Anyways, let’s dive in.

1/ Ever watch a horror movie?

If you do so alone, you may be a psychopath.

Anyways, putting that aside, MIT scientists have created something akin to a nightmare machine- an AI designed to bring out the same feelings of terror and dread that come about when you get jump-scared in a movie.

The ring, anyone?

Basically, this is made through an ML algorithm that has been trained on hundreds of thousands of images of celebrities, as well as horrific images- called the Nightmare Machine. Now how’s that for a name? Applying the fear factor to known faces- smart marketing all around.

Moving on.

Now, add in the fact that AI can write the scariest horror scripts imaginable, and we got a spooky field day.

In fact, we got someone building an AI-powered youtube of sorts, and this clip is pretty terifying—>https://www.vedeo.ai/play/20231002T214039504574. Now, this isnt the only way AI’s gonna shake up halloween.

______

Have you considered that there’s a bunch to learn about AI for this halloween season? I just made a full course on AI for the Halloween season using https://eduphoria.ai/. Fun stuff!

__________

On another note, many of the images you see during halloween this year will be AI generated.

Case in point….

Anyways, a startup that is crushing it at the game is Stability AI. A quick side hustle for y’all- Spooky decorations as a service, using tools like Stability AI. Haven’t seen many of these, and if you’re solid with prompting, you’ll have a great time doing it too!

Peace out for now.
