Travel Tech: A Quickie

TSA Clear

Good morning lads. Today we’re talking about flight tech startups to improve your calmness and focus on your journey.

Didn’t have much of a chad-like morning- missed my flight so I had to postpone it to tomorrow, but my luggage is in the air...

Let's start off with the obvious- there’s got to be some tech, other than an alarm, that helps people get on their flight.

Shouldn’t be too hard to pull off, since VC money pouring into travel and mobility startups has surpassed $50 billion during the last few years.

Regardless, lets dive into flight experience- this is the one place that somehow manages to simultaneously give you the most focus and the most discomfort at the same time.

Like, lets start with obvious things like increasing leg increasing the size of that bathroom…

Alot of the latest innovators in the travel/experience space (not named Airbnb, Away and Grab), seem to focus heavily on the destination of the trip, rather than the trip itself.

This needs a swift change, for the sake of humanity (thats right, we’re turning up the stakes Elon Musk style)

The startup that makes TSA even 5% more enjoyable will be a $50 billion company. The difficulty is, then, in figuring how to work in tandem with regulations designed to keep travelers safe.

LuckyTrip, for instance, is a one-tap travel inspiration platform which curates destination packages based on budget inputs from the user. Fantastic idea, just doesn’t solve the biggest problem with travel- the actual process of travel!

Clear’s got the right idea- helps you steamline and evade the UNIVERSALLY terrible bag check line experience.

No wonder they’re worth around $5 billion.

Now, leg room. Any takers?

Alright, peace out for today lads.
