Wearable AI & Companions

Big 2024 incoming

To Gift an AI?

With the New Year coming up and people traveling all over the world, it’s only natural to wonder– how can AI and LLMs optimize actual physical situations and scenarios in the coming year?

In case you’re trying to buy some cool AI products…

Anyways…lets dive in

1/Tab AI

Tab AI, which is basically an AI-powered necklace, has the aim of being the world’s most personal wearable device. Interesting goal for sure.

The founder, Avi Schiffman, has interesting perspectives on the UI and UX that AI should have in the future.

Emphasizing the “always on” nature of the necklace, Avi emphasizes that the necklace will gain deeper insight into the very essence of you.

Not in a bad way!

See, the chat interface is great- but it has a subtle flaw- many people don’t know what to even begin to ask the damn thing- think of it like a subtle “Cold feet” scenario with AI. Which is why even ChatGPT introduced prompt starters into their experience.

Many want to be guided and understood- they don’t want to sift to page 2 of Google even!

Just food for thought

2/ Forward Health’s AI Doctor

We got elf on a shelf….but now….we’ve got doctor in a box. Sort of.

The world’s first AI powered doctors office is on its way. An end-to-end wholistic LLM-powered workflow solution for all diseases and ailments does seem intriguing.

3/ AI Companions?

Seems we are entering an alternative parallel era. Many are looking into building AI companions…

And with the success of new startups like Replika, the idea seems to be gaining tremendous traction.

It does seem to solve the need for companionship for many- expect a huge spike in usage of these in 2024.

4/ The AI releases in the second half of this year have been a marvel

Got ChatGPT last year, but that only was the start of something special.

Take a look at some of the releases in the latter half of this year:

And we’re only in the early innings of the AI adoption curve!

Something to think about.

Happy Holidays!
