Work, Space, and Junior Roles in the Age of AI
1/ “Work may eventually become optional”- Elon
AI and robots will replace all jobs.
Working will be optional, like growing your own vegetables, instead of buying them from the store.

With humanoid robots on the horizon and AI systems rapidly automating knowledge work, we’re looking at a future where most “jobs” could be handled by machines.
2/ AI Agents being Overhyped? Karpathy Thinks So
A very strong possibility when it comes to AI:
> CEOs overhype its capability
> Reduce headcount short term in favor of AI Agents
> See their stock price pop a few points, believe it was the right decisionOnly to see within another relatively short amount of time that these AI

Andrej Karpathy believes the AI agent craze might be getting ahead of itself. While everyone’s rushing to build autonomous agents that promise to replace entire workflows, Karpathy reminds us that the underlying technology isn’t quite as robust as many think.
3/ Nvidia is Putting Data Centers in Space
NVIDIA has announced AI data centers in space
And an AI shipbuilding partnership
In the last two days
Words and physics just don't mean anything anymore
Dear god this has to be the top please, when will it end

This one’s wild. Nvidia’s plan to put data centers in space sounds like science fiction but could soon be reality. Think about it: reduced cooling costs, solar abundance, and potentially faster satellite-to-satellite AI communication. The ultimate edge computing environment might just be off-Earth. There are problems with cooling in this scenario, but they will be quickly resolved- exciting times ahead in space tech.
4/ AI Generated TV Series on a Network
First entirely AI generated TV series on a major network

A fully AI-generated TV series is now airing on a real network, marking a massive milestone for media. Of course, the first wave will likely have some rough edges, but this is how new genres begin.
5/ The Age of AI Slopification
it does feel like every founder is trying to shove ai everywhere and anywhere, hoping that it sticks
the truth is, if you want to be a winner in the ai space you need to be intentional and precise with where/how your product utilizes ai (if at all)
— Craig Weiss (@craigzLiszt)

We’re entering an era where AI tools can both elevate and dilute quality depending on how they’re used. “AI slopification” happens when builders throw AI into everything without intention. AI should be treated like a swiss-army knife, and inserted into apps and workflows with precision to have the best effect.
6/ Junior Roles are Feeling the Brunt of AI
Pretty interesting:
Companies that have adopted AI aren't hiring fewer senior employees, but they have cut back on hiring juniors ones.

Junior roles are increasingly the first casualties of AI disruption. Most AI systems today function like ultra-efficient junior employees: they can research, summarize, draft, and even analyze with remarkable speed. As a result, entry-level pathways are shrinking, forcing a complete rethink of how people get real-world experience in the AI era.
